This fall, Toronto Film School is rolling out its biggest TIFF experience yet. We’re celebrating over five decades of the Toronto International Film Festival®, presented by Rogers and our own ever-growing presence within Canada’s creative industries.

Industry Tour: TIFF x TFS Experience Day

September 12, 2026 • 12pm-4pm

Join us for special events at our new studio campus and the TFS Cinema Installation at TIFF’s Festival Street Art Market. You’ll get to check out student work, discuss the career possibilities our programs can open up for you, and learn about our proud connection to TIFF. So, join us—fill out the form on the right and register for our industry tour!

  • Go behind the scenes of our 6 full-time creative diploma programs.
  • Join live screenings, tech demos, and interactive sessions with faculty.
  • Visit the Toronto Film School campus at 120 Bloor Street on September 12, 2026, to receive an entry card. Drop this entry card off at the TFS Cinema Installation at the TIFF Festival Street on September 12 or 13, 2026.

On-campus, hybrid and remote live-instruction programs are offered through Toronto Film School, Ontario. Online self-paced programs are offered through Toronto Film School at Yorkville University, New Brunswick.

In Ontario, Yorkville University offers a Bachelor of Creative Arts (BCA) degree which is delivered on campus and online. The institution has been granted a consent by the Ministry of Colleges and Universities (MCU) to offer the BCA for a seven-year term starting 2020/12/17. Prospective students are responsible for satisfying themselves that the program and the degree will be appropriate to their needs (i.e., acceptable to potential employers, professional licensing bodies or other educational institutions).

We’re giving away  5 Market Passes to TIFF 2026 (Sept 10–20), each valued at over $695 + HST, to applicants for our upcoming full-time diploma programs.

To automatically enter the draw, submit a complete application to a full-time Toronto Film School program.
Eligibility criteria*:

  • You must apply to a full-time program
  • Your application must be for the October 2026 intake
  • Open to Canadian residents only, excluding Quebec

Current Students & Alumni

We’ve reserved 10 Market Passes for you to experience TIFF up close with full accreditation.

But that’s not all. 25 standout short films will be selected to screen at the TFS Cinema on TIFF’s Festival Street, right in the middle of the action.

To enter, submit*:

  • A 1-minute video telling us who you are and why you want to attend TIFF 2026.
  • (Optional) A short film you’ve written, produced, directed, or starred in for a shot at Festival Street screening glory.
